About the event
This is a course run by Pine Tree Potters Guild so you must register/pay directly through the website link - please go to the site for registration directions and requirements. Course Description: In this 8-week course you will develop confidence while learning the fundamentals of wheel work. Throughout the course the focus will be on centering, opening, raising walls, throwing cylinders and bowls. Participants will also learn to trim and glaze the pieces they make and fine tune their skills. It is required that participants have some minor hand building experience before taking this course. Beginner Hand-building or Pottery Fundamentals is a recommended pre-requisite for this class.
